TheHeckler&Koch HK417 6 mm green gas is a gas replica of an assault carbine used, among others, in Poland by the Bureau of Anti-Terrorist Operations of the KGP and JW 4101.
Full-metal construction
The Heckler&Koch HK417 is made almost entirely of metal by precision aluminum milling. Of polymer are the pistol grip and the flask.
The carbine has an R.I.S. bed and a Picatinny top rail, which allow the use of additional shooting accessories such as a vertical grip, flashlight or collimator. The R.I.S. rail system is mounted in such a way that there is no play and "rail rotation" effect.
As in the original, the replica uses removable targeting instruments, which can serve as spare instruments when a collimator is attached.
The adjustable-length flask is finished with a non-slip foot, providing a secure point of support. On the flask and the bed there are carrying belt attachments.
The barrel is finished with a 14mm left-hand thread, on which a standard bird cage type flame suppressor is mounted.
The realism of the design is emphasized by the functioning manipulators: fire selector, magazine catch and slide drop (bolt catch).
Gas Blow Back
The carbine is powered by a green gas mixture, which generates an initial velocity of about 330 fps. The gas system provides realistic operation of the blowback system, which impressively mimics the mechanics of the weapon during firing.
The distinct recoil of the breech when firing, felt as a solid "kick in the shoulder," is much stronger than the ebb (electric blowback) and is sure to bring joy to any airsoft enthusiast.
After firing the balls from the magazine, the slide locks in the rear position identical to that of a firearm, and it is necessary to press the bolt catch lever to release it.
Adjustable hop-up system
The carbine uses an adjustable hop-up system, which can be accessed after partially disassembling the replica.
Metal magazine
The real-cap magazine, which serves as a green gas tank, holds 30 pellets.
TheHK 417 GBB, thanks to its realistic handling, will be perfect for asg games, and can also be used as a cheaper and safer alternative in training for uniformed services.
