TheFenix PD32 V2.0 is a new version of the PD32 all-purpose flashlight, which, after the upgrade, has a light output of 1,200 lumens, 395m effective range and a simple interface including 4 useful modes.
Rugged construction
The flashlight's tube is made of anodized A6061-T HA-III aluminum, which guarantees high resistance to damage and robust construction. Thanks to the cross-moleting of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well felt.
The optical system is protected by a crown, which protects the glass during a fall and allows the flashlight to be used for self-defense. The flashlight is handy, with a length of 129 mm and a weight of only 82 g without batteries, which is about the weight of a compact folding knife.
Thanks to the detachable clip, the flashlight can be attached to a belt, backpack or tactical vest. The flashlight has a high protection class IP68, so it is resistant to dust, dust, full immersion in water at a depth of 2 m and a fall from a height of 1 m.
Versatile outdoor flashlight
The light source is Osram's latest LED - KW CSLPM1.TG, emitting a maximum light output of 1200 lumens. Thanks to the use of a reduced matrix, the light emitted by the LED can be perfectly focused, which translates into a long range of the flashlight of up to 395 m.
The new diode has a lower conduction voltage and can be powered by a higher current, resulting in a more powerful light output as well. The natural white color of the light reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendition and better visibility of details.
The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector, which reflects a concentrated beam of light at a distance of as much as 395 meters.
Such light parameters make the flashlight perfect for many outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting.
Simple and functional
The user has 3 constant light modes: high, medium, low and 1 flash mode: strobe. Limiting the modes is a deliberate effort to affect the functionality and clarity of the interface.
To operate the flashlight, there is a rear tactical switch responsible for turning the flashlight on/off, changing modes and activating the strobe. Fenix PD32 V2.0 can be powered by an 18650 rechargeable battery or 2 CR123 disposable batteries .
Additional features
The flashlight remembers the last used brightness level. When you turn it on again, the flashlight automatically activates in that mode (with the strobe off). Fenix PD32 V2.0 also features overheating protection.
In order to reduce the temperature, the driver reduces the brightness by a few lumens, which allows you to re-activate the turbo mode. The manufacturer also did not forget to include reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning function.
The light performance was tested using the ARB-L18-3500 battery.
