TheBrowning 1911 HME is a heavy spring replica equipped with a metal lock, grip fuse and Picatinny accessory rail.
The replica is reminiscent of the John Moses Browning military pistol, which, despite the passage of more than 100 years, is one of the most recognizable pistols in the world.
Metal lock
Unlike other replicas in a similar price range, the Browning 1911 HME uses a metal lock, thus increasing the weight of the replica to 550g. The replica belongs to the HME (Heavy Metal Energy) series, which means that the gun has a higher weight close to that of a combat weapon. An enlarged undercut in the rear of the frame (beaver tail) along with aggressively textured liners ensure repeatability and grip stability. The replica uses 2 fully functional fuses: grip and wing fuse responsible for locking the trigger mechanism.
Reliable drive
The replica has a spring drive, which requires manual tensioning of the spring each time before firing. This action is performed by vigorously pulling the breech back. Among the most important advantages of the spring drive are the absence of additional costs associated with consumables, ease and reliability of operation, and low sensitivity to atmospheric factors. A spring-loaded replica, unlike, for example, green gas replicas, also works reliably in winter. The fired bullets reach a velocity of about 220 fps and an effective range of up to 15 m.
Retractable magazine
The gun is powered by a metal magazine with a capacity of 14 balls. Thanks to the possibility of locking the feeder in the lower position, the balls to the magazine can be loaded directly from the container.
