Proven stainless steel
The blade is made of tough 420HC stainless steel, which features an increased carbon and chromium content for corrosion resistance and good hardenability comparable to AUS 6. Due to its resistance to wear and corrosion, good sharpness retention and ease of sharpening, the 420HC steel blade will perform well in the field. The blade is coated with a durable Cerakote ceramic coating, protecting the steel from weather, wood sap and corrosion.
Armored construction
The Gerber Strongarm FE is a knife with a fixed blade and a full-tang blade, which means that the tool is made from a single piece of steel. This design, combined with a 4.8mm thick head, ensures the tool's durability and strength, making the Gerber Strongarm also suitable for chopping wood, batoning and undermining.
Solid head
The smooth head, with a working length of 124, has a usable drop-point profile and a high flat grind, featuring good cutting properties and high durability. The 90° flat back of the blade works well with a flint, making it easy to light a fire.
Excellent chywt
The knife's handle is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The non-slip texture of the plastic and the ergonomic shape ensure a secure and comfortable grip on the knife. The double-sided h ilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade. The bolt protruding from the handle functions as a hammer, emergency glass breaker or a blow tool.
Polymer sheath in Molle system
The set includes a multifunctional polymer scabbard, which, thanks to the Molle system, can be worn on a belt ( vertically and horizontally), vest, backpack and other equipment.
