Thanks to its reliability, the Mossberg 590 shotgun is a popular choice among civilian shooters for sport and recreation. Unlike the standard 500 model, the Mossberg 590 has a heavy thick-walled barrel (508 mm), aluminum breech and safety.
Construction
TheMossberg 590 is a tactical repeating rifle, equipped with a synthetic stock, a fixed magazine with a capacity of 9 rounds. The 20" long barrel made of carbon steel has a fixed fore-end (cylinder) and a 76mm chamber, so we can shoot any type of shot, and slug bullets.
The rifle uses a steel heat shield to prevent hand burns when the barrel gets too hot. The double-action lock is locked by a back-and-forth sliding motion of the shuttle. The metal parts are coated with a durable phosphate coating, which has anti-corrosion properties.
On the butt and magazine there are hooks for attaching a carry belt. A traditional brass bead is used for aiming. A pistol grip, mounted in place of the flask, is included.
