TheHolosun Micro Red Dot HS407C X2 is an upgraded version of the popular collimator, featuring Solar Failsafe power, Shake Awake battery saving system and 2 MOA aiming mark.
The X2 series features an upgraded horizontal button layout that is much more comfortable and user-friendly, as well as a Lock Mode button lock that, when activated, disables the buttons and prevents accidental changes to settings.
Lightweight and durable
The body of the sight is made of 7075 aluminum using a precision milling method. The device has a lightweight and durable design weighing only 42 grams. The base of the collimator was made in the popular RMR mounting standard. Unlike the previous version, the X2 series uses a new - horizontal button layout, which, according to most users, is more convenient and user-friendly. The device has a high level of IP67 protection, making it resistant to weather conditions and temporary immersion in water. The aluminum body is finished with a hard anodizing technique, which provides high resistance to abrasion and scratches. The X2 collimator is also enhanced with Lock Mode, which, when activated, disables the operation of the buttons, thus preventing accidental changes to the sight settings.
2 MOA dot
The Holosun Micro Red Dot HS407C X2 uses lenses coated with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, which provide high light transmission and a clear and sharp image free of parallax error. The aiming mark is a red dot of the popular 2 MOA size. The control chip and diode are resistant to shock, weapon recoil and weather conditions, making the unit work efficiently and stably even in harsh field conditions.
Solar power supply
The collimator is powered by a CR1632 battery, which, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 50,000 hours of operation at a brightness setting of 6. The device additionally uses a Solar Failsafe solar panel, which in strong light (sunlight or artificial light) supports the operation of the battery, is responsible for automatic brightness adjustment of the aiming mark and replaces a discharged battery in an emergency situation. The user can use the automatic brightness adjustment or change the brightness independently have 10 daylight settings and 2 settings for night vision. With an impressive runtime of up to 50,000 hours, the device owes its Shake Awake system, which automatically turns off the LED when there is no movement, and the device goes into sleep mode.
Re-activating the aiming mark requires only moving the weapon. The user can independently define the time after which the sleep mode is activated. The Holosun Micro Red Dot HS407C X2 is designed for small arms, and can also serve as a backup sight on a rifle equipped with an optical sight.
