TheBlack Ops Benning 5.5mm is a high-velocity, high-initial-velocity air rifle modeled after military-style select-fire rifles, featuring an ergonomic polymer stock, flask with adjustable foot and cheekpiece, fiber-optic sights, and an adjustable trigger mechanism.
The Black Ops Benning is a military-style air rifle inspired by Fort Benning - one of the largest bases in the US, home to the US Army Infantry Center and School referred to as the "Home of the Infantry."
Military-style air rifle
The carbine has a polymer stock, the design of which is reminiscent of modern sniper rifles. The plastic used is resistant to mechanical damage, weather conditions and moisture. Maintenance and cleaning of the plastic bed is limited only to the maintenance of general cleanliness and occasional use of silicone oil. This model also uses a flask with an adjustable cheek piece, so the shooter can adjust its height in relation to the optic or his own preferences. An additional advantage is the option to adjust the length of the buttstock (within 40 mm), so that people of different heights can shoot the airgun. Fine texturing has been applied to the bed and the separated pistol grip, which increases the grip and grip of the carbine. Post-shot recoil is effectively absorbed thanks to a rubber foot, which is also responsible for a stable point of support.
Carbine with a breakable barrel
The spring is tensioned by the classic "break barrel", a method most often used in spring-loaded air rifles due to its convenient and simple operation. Black Ops Benning shoots diabolo shot in 5.5mm caliber, loaded directly into the barrel. A polymer collar with a textured surface is installed on the barrel, which serves as the base of the musket and a grip for easy spring tensioning.
A windcheater with a threaded barrel
A furrowed barrel with a length of 478 mm is responsible for the accuracy and repeatability of shots, thanks to which we can achieve repeatable focus after just a short training. The fired shotgun reaches a high initial velocity of as much as 200 m/s (~ 16.6 J), so we can also shoot accurately from the carbine at longer distances. One of the main elements of the weapon affecting the accuracy and repeatability of shots is the trigger mechanism. In the Black Ops Benning 5.5 mm model, the manufacturer has used an adjustable trigger mechanism, allowing the shooter to individually adjust the length of the trigger tongue.
Automatic safety
In shooting, the most important thing is safety, so when the spring is stretched ("breaking the barrel"), the fuse is automatically activated, which prevents the firing of an uncontrolled shot. Before firing, it is necessary to turn off the safety each time, which is conveniently located in front of the trigger tongue. This affects the extremely easy unlocking of the carbine, which can be done even without interfering with the aiming process.
Modern sighting instruments
The carbine has been equipped with good quality fiber-optic targeting instruments, i.e. a tunnelled musket and a vertically and horizontally adjustable scimitar. The fiber-optic rods with contrasting (green-red) colors, significantly speed up the alignment of the bow tie and the pincer, and thanks to their high light absorption, they are clearly visible even in lower light. If you want to try your hand at shooting at a longer distance, you can also mount an optical sight of your choice on the dorsal Picatinny rail.
Technologies used:
PSP (Performance Spring Piston) - the manufacturer has developed an efficient and durable piston-spring system that ensures maximum energy and repeatability with every shot.
Full Metal Breech - steel internal components.
Picatinny mount - Picatinny standard rails (Stanag 2324) allow the use of a wide range of accessories and sights.
Fiber Optics - targeting instruments with fiber optics with high light absorption, make it easier to enter the target and accelerate their ripping.
