Modeled after the firearm
The Walther Walther PPQ M2 4.5mm is a pneumatic replica modeled after the Walther PPQ M2 self-revolving pistol, which was developed for the German Police as a potential successor to the long-deserted Walther P99. Like the original, the pistol has an enlarged breech, a polymer frame with an accessory rail, a contoured grip with non-slip texturing, and an adjustable (horizontal) stock. The pistol's grip has profiled finger cutouts and fine non-slip texturing identical to the texture of firearm linings. The above-mentioned solutions make the airgun fit very well and comfortably in almost any hand.
TheWalther PPQ M2 has mechanical targeting instruments with yellow markings. The contrasting dots allow much faster ripping of the instruments, easier "entry into the target" and shooting in lower light conditions. All gun and militaria enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the air rifle bears the licensed markings of the manufacturer Walther.
EfficientCO2 power supply
The air rifle is powered by a 12gCO2 capsule, mounted in the pistol's grip. The compressed carbon dioxide gives the fired diabolo shots a velocity of up to 95 m/s and allows accurate shooting at a distance of about 20 m.
A good quality CO2 cartridge allows up to 60 aligned shots. The number of shots also depends on the air temperature, shooting dynamics and proper maintenance of the airgun. It is also important to remember that aCO2 capsule (punctured) can be left in the windgun for a maximum of 48 hours. After this time, the capsule must be removed or "fired". Installation and replacement of the capsule are very simple, requiring only inserting the capsule into the grip (under the rear cladding) and tightening it with the pressure screw.
Accurate diabolo shot
Thanks to the threaded barrel, the gun has been adapted to shoot classic 4.5mm diabolo shot, which makes the airgun great for precision target shooting. Unlike other pistol wind guns for diabolo shot, the Walther Walther PPQ M2 uses a chain-type magazine with a capacity of as many as 21 4.5mm shotgun shells. The magazine also includes a compartment for the feed cartridge.
DAO trigger mechanism
The windcheater uses a DAO (double action only)trigger mechanism , which allows shooting with self-trigger only. The advantage of this solution is, above all, simple and instinctive operation, which makes the Walther PPQ M2 air rifle great for those who are just beginning their adventure with air shooting. The trigger mechanism can be locked by means of an external safety located on the right side of the frame.
