TheBeretta 92X Target Performance cal. 9x19 is a sporting self-revolving pistol that combines the reliability and accuracy of the M9 series with modern solutions responsible for better ergonomics and accuracy.
Steel construction
The Beretta 92X Target Performance is a full-size pistol with an SA/ DA trigger mechanism, built on a Vertex steel frame, which, unlike the classic frame, is narrower, has a different handle angle and a straight grip. The advantage of the Vertec skeleton is, of course, the smaller slimmer profile of the weapon, affecting the comfort of carrying. Aggressive texturing has been applied to the grip, designed to suit the widest range of shooters. The gun has a heavy steel construction (1350 g), which absorbs much of the recoil energy.
The sporting character of the gun is emphasized by a lightweight ported lock, responsible for the rapid return of the barrel to the target, an enlarged socket to help with magazine replacement and an enlarged skeleton spur. The gun uses a decocker, used to safely release a tightened cock.
Precision and shooting dynamics
The elements responsible for the excellent shooting performance are a high-quality chrome-plated 4.9" barrel and an adjustable SA/DA trigger mechanism with a perfectly felt and short reset. From the factory, the pistol is also equipped with an adjustable pincer and fiber-optic musket. The pistol is powered by a double-row magazine with a capacity of 15 rounds.
