TheChristensen Arms Ranger 22 LR beige-black is a lightweight side-firing carbine designed for precision shooting equipped with a carbon fiber jacketed barrel, Remington 700-style match trigger, integrated 0 MOA Picatinny rail and an ergonomic carbon fiber composite stock. The rifle's excellent accuracy is confirmed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA* guarantee (at 45 meters).
Lightweight construction
The rifle's stock is made of ultralight carbon fiber composite, which is also resistant to moisture, temperature changes and mechanical damage. Unlike a classic wooden stock, carbon fiber is not only much lighter, it requires virtually no maintenance and is highly resistant to weather conditions.
The shape of the bed was developed for shooting in a recumbent position with the use of a bipod, so the carbine will be perfect for long-distance shooting. The flask has a simple, symmetrical shape with an isolated pistol grip and a lower undercut, which provide comfortable composition for right- and left-handed shooters. The stock is equipped with a soft rubber foot that creates a stable point of support.
Precision of less than 1 MOA
The Christensen Arms Mesa rifle guarantees a focus of less than 1 MOA (at 45 m), right out of the box and with the optics mounted. Such precision is due to the rifle's floating 1:16 threaded barrel and Remington 700-style match trigger mechanism.
The thick-walled barrel provides greater rigidity, less susceptibility to vibration, and less recoil. It is worth noting that the barrel and the Bentz-type cartridge chamber are subjected to manual lapping by Christensen Arms gunsmiths, which contributes to excellent accuracy and repeatability of shots. Thanks to the use of a 1/2 × 28 external thread on the barrel, we can additionally mount an outlet device of our choice.
Ergonomics and functionality
The carbine is distinguished by smooth and reliable mechanics, which is guaranteed by a precision-made breech chamber with a steel locking insert, 2 extractor claws that eliminate the risk of jamming, and an enlarged and fluted reloading lever. The breech mechanism is finished with anodizing technique, whose durable coating increases the strength and corrosion resistance of the metal. The carbine fits standard magazines from Ruger 10/22.
Standard buckles allow the attachment of a carry belt or bipod, necessary for precision shooting. For mounting optics there is an integrated Picatinny rail O MOA/.
