TheChristensen Arms Ridgeline Ti .308 Win 22" gray-black is an exceptional hunting repeater built from the highest quality materials: stainless steel, titanium and carbon fiber. The rifle features a precision carbon fiber jacketed barrel, titanium discharge brake, branded Trigger Tech trigger mechanism , carbon fiber stock, and titanium cartridge chamber and lock. The rifle's excellent accuracy is confirmed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA warranty.
Lightweight hunting rifle
The sporter-style stock is made of ultralight carbon fiber composite, which is also resistant to moisture, temperature changes and mechanical damage. The unloaded rifle (without optics) weighs just 2,630 grams, so that even after moving around with the weapon for several hours, the hunter does not feel as tired as when carrying a classic rifle with a wooden or heavy polymer buttstock.
Unlike a classic wooden buttstock, carbon fiber is not only much lighter, requires virtually no maintenance and is highly resistant to weather conditions. The bed has an isolated pistol grip, a flask with a soft footplate to effectively absorb recoil, and standard buckles for attaching a carry belt.
Precision of less than 1 MOA
The Christensen Arms Mesa rifle guarantees a focus of less than 1 MOA, right out of the box and with optics mounted. Such precision is due to the rifle's floating barrel with a 1:10 thread pitch and adjustable Trigger Tech® Trigger mechanism.
The thick-walled 416R steel barrel has a heavy Target profile, which provides greater rigidity, less susceptibility to vibration, as well as lower recoil and slower heating, which is why this type of barrel is commonly used in hunting weapons. It is worth noting that the Match type barrel and cartridge chamber are subjected to manual lapping by Christensen Arms gunsmiths, which contributes to excellent accuracy and repeatability of shots. A 5/8 × 24 external thread is embedded radial titanium exhaust brake, which effectively reduces recoil. The carbon fiber jacket protects the barrel from external factors and is a hallmark of the Christensen Arms brand, which uses precise technologies used in the aerospace industry to manufacture Carbon barrels.
Ergonomics and functionality
The rifle is distinguished by smooth and reliable mechanics, which are provided by a torsionally fluted titanium lock, an enlarged shell ejection window, a titanium breech chamber compatible with the Remington 700 mounting base, an M16-style ejector and a fluted reloading lever. The rifle has an internal magazine with a capacity of 4 rounds. The rifle's breech has undergone nitriding, a thermo-chemical treatment that increases corrosion and wear resistance, improves fatigue resistance and hardens the steel.
Standard buckles allow the attachment of a carry belt or bipod. The repeater is available in two calibers: .308 and 300 Win.
