TheBenelli M4 Tactical Synth caliber 12/70 is a self-repeating tactical rifle, whose reliability and durability have been considered unrivaled on the market for years.
ARGO gas system
The Benelli M4 uses a specially designed A.R.G.O. (Auto Regulating Gas Operated) gas system. The mechanics and locking of the weapon is done with a short piston stroke. The biggest advantage of the ARGO is its simple two-piece lock, low weight and small number of parts, which affects the reliability of reloading and ease of cleaning. The system has a self-regulating mechanism, so that the recoil of the weapon varies according to the powder charge in the ammunition. In the case of powerful ammunition, the gases transfer energy to the plunger, and the excess is expelled through the side holes. The self-regulating gas mechanism requires almost no cleaning, as it accumulates much less fouling due to its location close to the cartridge chamber, within which higher-pressure gases operate.
Robust construction
The Benelli M4 Tactical Synth has a flask and bed made of high-quality plastic, resistant to weather and mechanical damage. The breech, barrel and tubular magazine were created from high-quality stainless steel, while the breech chamber is made from lightweight aluminum alloy. The breech chamber and barrel are coated with a black protective coating resistant to abrasion and scratches. The barrel wire is chrome plated for high corrosion resistance. A large fuse is located on the right side of the breech, which locks the trigger action in the engaged position. The shotgun is fed from a 7-round tubular magazine. The rifle comes standard with Ghost Ring tactical sighting devices, with side guards.
A MIL-STD 1913 rail is mounted on top of the breech chamber for mounting an optoelectronic sight. The M4 has 2 belt mounting lugs embedded on the butt and magazine cap.
