Construction
TheMossberg 590 is a tactical repeating rifle, equipped with a synthetic stock, a fixed magazine with a capacity of 6 cartridges, and a flask with an integrated loader for 4 cartridges. The 18.5" long carbon steel barrel has a fixed forend (cylinder) and a 76mm chamber, allowing us to shoot any type of shotgun pellets, and slug bullets. The double-action lock is locked by a back-and-forth sliding motion of the shuttle. The metal parts are coated with a durable phosphate coating, which has anti-corrosion properties.
On the butt and magazine cap there are fasteners for attaching a carry belt. For the sighting, a brass bead-type must is used, which facilitates instinctive "over the barrel" shooting.
