TheMossberg 500 Retro cal. 12/76 50429 is an iconic repeating rif le that combines solid performance, reliability and affordability.
Reminiscent of classic Mossberg shotguns, all models in the Retrograde series have a walnut wood butt and shuttle, a finely checkered grip and a vented recoil-dampening footplate. The Mossberg 500 Retro is a reliable pump action repeating rifle, equipped with a fixed magazine with a capacity of 5 rounds and an aluminum fuse at the rear of the breech chamber. The Retrograde version of the shotgun has a walnut wood buttstock, a perfectly fitted shuttle, a checkered grip and a soft ventilated recoil dampening footplate. Aiming down the barrel is facilitated by a brass bead-type bow tie.
The 18.5" long carbon steel barrel has a fixed forend (cylinder) and a 76mm chamber, allowing us to shoot any type of shot, and slug bullets. The double-action lock is reloaded by moving the shuttle back and forth. The shotgun has an open charging port, devoid of the so-called spoon, so the shooter can comfortably load ammunition also with gloves.
