CZ Scorpion EVO III S1 is a carbine powered by 9x19 pistol ammunition, which has been steadily conquering the market of this type of weapon since its premiere. Its lightweight, modular design, high ergonomics and reliability make the CZ Scorpion EVO III currently one of the most popular PCC carbines on the market.
The CZ Scorpion EVO III carbine offers the user:
The Scorpion carbine has dominated the segment of long guns powered by pistol ammunition for years and is a frequent choice of competitors competing in the increasingly popular IPSC PCC competition. Not without reason - at the time of its creation, the carbine significantly distinguished itself from the appreciated, although already old designs present on the market.
For maximum light weight, the design relied on extensive use of reinforced polymer - fiberglass-filled nylon with excellent mechanical properties. Steel was used in places where it is actually necessary, which made it possible to achieve a weight of only 2.55 kg in a full-size carbine.
Sensational ergonomics were achieved, among other things, thanks to CZ's cooperation with the Slovak company Laugo, known, among other things, for the later exotic Alien performance pistol. The adjustable pistol grip allows to adjust the distance to the length of the user's fingers. What's more, the grip is a separate module, allowing for possible replacement with an aftermarket model.
To ensure the highest durability and above-average precision, the barrel of the carbine was made using cold-forging technology. The end of the barrel was equipped with an external thread, on which the flame suppressor was screwed on at the factory. However, if necessary, it can be easily unscrewed and replaced with a compensator or sound suppressor.
The side-folding flask makes the carbine easy to transport even in a backpack, and the possibility of adjustment will allow you to choose the right LOP for your size. Also noteworthy is the expanded magazine slot and the double-sided release button, allowing operation with both the index finger of the dominant hand and the thumb of the weak hand.
The Picatinny rail system located on the bed and the back of the breech chamber is responsible for the possibility of using accessories. The lower rail allows the installation of a front grip, which, together with the profiled bed, will allow comfortable placement of the hand. The side rails will provide space for electronics, while the upper rail can be used to place a collimator on the carbine.
