Durable aircraft aluminum body
The flashlight's solid body is made of lightweight A6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, with high resistance to damage and low weight at the same time. The surface of the flashlight has been subjected to HAIII type anodization. This is the most advanced method of anodization, also known as hard anodization, giving the surface a hardness of up to 65 on the Rockwell scale. The hard oxide coating is an excellent insulator, extremely resistant to abrasion and scratching.
The middle part of the body, has undergone mottling, which prevents the flashlight from slipping out of a wet or slippery hand. Grooves on the head, increase its surface area, thus facilitating the dissipation of excess heat generated during long shining.
On the back of the flashlight there is a convenient, lanyard clip and a wide clip, allowing the flashlight to be attached to a belt or a brace. The optical system is protected by a steel crown, so the flashlight can also be used to strike blows during self-defense.
Tactical searchlight with 5000 lumens beam
The impressive light parameters of the Fenix TK35UE V2.0 are due to the use of 3 new generation LUMINUS SST40 LEDs. The powerful emitters in turbo mode generate a maximum flux of as much as 5000 lumens for 100 minutes (total run time). The light has a white color of 6500 K, ideal for exploration, patrolling, tactical applications and hunting. The human eye perceives "cold light" as more powerful, so it works best for illuminating terrain, distant objects, and blinding an attacker. The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and smooth reflectors, which concentrate the light at a distance of as much as 400 m! The light parameters allow for precise illumination of distant objects and effective work in patrol operations, making the Fenix TK35UE V2.0 a great flashlight for exploration, uniformed services work and the outdoors in the broadest sense.
Power supply
The flashlight is powered by two 18650 rechargeable batteries or 4 CR123 batteries, which are especially recommended in winter. Another innovation is the possibility of emergency powering the flashlight with only one 18650 battery or two CR123 cells.
When exploring or hunting, it's a good idea to monitor the state of the battery, which is why the TK35UE V2.0 flashlight uses a low-energy warning system and an LED battery level indicator to inform the user of its condition. Each time the flashlight is turned on, the LED in the function switch indicates the battery level for 3 seconds.

TheFenix TK35UE V2.0 has an extremely functional operating mechanism consisting of a rubber tactical switch and a rotating ring for changing mode groups. The aforementioned rotating ring can be conveniently operated with one hand, allowing you to instantly switch between the 3 available modes: tactical, duty and lock . Thanks to such functionality, the flashlight is extremely simple and convenient to use, has high responsiveness and, importantly, allows instant access to the most important functions. The mechanical switch is reliable and safe, and what is important in cases of uniformed services, its operation does not interfere with the magnetic field.
In tactical mode, we have TURBO and STROBO light at our disposal. In DUTY mode , we can choose between one of 5 brightness levels (Eco→Low→Med→High→Turbo) and STROBO function. The lock function allows us to protect the flashlight from accidental activation during transport or storage. On the flashlight's off position, we can also instantly activate the STROBO flash mode, often used for self-defense and intervention activities.
Additional features
Among the undoubted advantages of the flashlight is the automatic battery level indicator, which simply and clearly informs the user of the battery status or the need to recharge. The indicator displays the information each time the flashlight is turned on, with the help of a rear two-color LED. The low battery warning is triggered automatically when the defined voltage level drops. The flashlight also has an overheating protection function. When the temperature reaches or exceeds 65 °C (in TURBO mode), the flashlight automatically reduces the light output by several lumens until the temperature is reduced to a safe level. Once stabilized, the flashlight gradually returns to TURBO brightness. In DUTY mode, the flashlight remembers the last used brightness level, the next time the flashlight is turned on, the brightness level is automatically set (memory mode). The manufacturer also did not forget about protection against reverse polarity, that is, improper installation of batteries.
Durability
The flashlight has a professional IP68 rating, which means that it is completely resistant to dust and dirt, fine solids, full immersion in water (for 480 minutes at a depth of 2 meters) and a fall from 1 meter. All light and durability parameters of the flashlight are in accordance with ANSI/PLATO FL1 standards. The presented parameters were obtained under laboratory conditions. During testing, the Fenix ARB-L18-3500P battery was used.
