Kbks for precision shooting
The Savage Mark II FVT cal. 22 LR carbine uses a varmint-profile polymer stock that provides comfortable composition when shooting from a recumbent stance. There are 2 buckles on the bed that allow mounting a belt or bipod. A straight flask with a symmetrical cheekpiece provides comfortable composition for right- and left-handed shooters. The pistol grip and the front of the bed have been subjected to decorative knurling, which increases the grip of the weapon and improves its grip.
Adjustable trigger mechanism
The carbine uses a heavy 533mm barrel made of carbon steel. The furrowing (1:16) in the barrel was made using the traditional button rifled technique, which guarantees high accuracy and repeatable hits. The Savage Mark II FVT has a single-stage Accu Trigger mechanism with adjustable resistance and protection against firing in case of shock or falling of the weapon. The rifle is bolted with a 4-barrel lock with smooth and light action.
The weapon is fed from a removable magazine with a capacity of 5 rounds. Unlike most .22LR carbines, the Savage Mark II FVT cal. 22 LR uses a sighting sight with interchangeable inserts, making it suitable for precision shooting at a distance of 50 meters.
