TheMagpul AS AP QD replaces the rear plate of the trigger compartment, allowing this space to be converted into a functional port. For models that don't have any mounting there, the Magpul ASAP allows the suspension to be pinned closer to the carbine's center of gravity. This will make it possible to use a single-point QD suspension, which we will certainly appreciate in confined spaces. The special profile and perfectly selected materials make the product extremely durable and will not wear out from use.
Please note that the mount is not compatible with A1/A2 type fixed flasks and other similarly mounted designs (including Magpul PRS®, UBR® and MOE® Rifle Stocks).
