THE EDGE puckSHARP is a handy ceramic sharpener, the size of a hockey puck, that is perfect for sharpening outdoor, garden and workshop tools such as axes, machetes, shovels, garden shears, spades, scythes and other bladed tools that do not require precise sharpening.
The whetstone offers two grit grades: coarse 180 and medium 400, allowing repairs of a damaged blade, restoring its sharpness and honing the edge. PuckSHARP is made out of carborundum (silicon carbide), a hard grain (9.2 on the Mohs scale) with excellent abrasive and polishing properties. The whetstone is oval-shaped, which makes it easier to sharpen bigger tools and oval-shaped cutting edges.
