Holosun HE403R-GD Gold Dot collimator low mount

TheHE403R-GD Gold Dot is a collimator sight with a gold-colored target mark , which features a Shake Awake battery saving system, two mounting bases a digital circuit that provides up to 100,000 hours of operation.

The body of the sight is made of 6061-T6 aluminum by precision milling. The device has a sturdy and relatively lightweight design weighing 173 g with 1/3 Co-witness mount. The Holosun HE403R-GD Gold Dot features "stable zero holding", has no parallax error, and its optics provide unlimited eye relief, making it suitable for use on sporting rifles, AR carbines and hunting weapons. The collimator uses lenses covered with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, which ensure high light transmission and a clear and sharp image without parallax error. The control system and diode are resistant to 1000 g overload, weapon recoil and weather conditions, so the device works efficiently and stably on hunting and sporting weapons.

The sight uses a 2 MOA dot aiming point, and in the GD (Gold Dot ) series sights the aiming mark is displayed in gold color . This innovative solution has 3 features that significantly differentiate it from the classic red and green dot:

• gold color is neutral for daltonists
• the target mark in gold color is more visible on yellow and green backgrounds
• Gold Dot makes it easier to distinguish the target mark from the green or red dot of a laser target indicator

The power supply uses a popular CR2032 battery mounted under the outer cover. With an impressive operating time of up to 100,000 hours, the device owes its Shake Awake system , which automatically turns off the LED when there is no motion activity. Re-activating the aiming mark requires only moving the weapon. The user can independently define the time after which the sleep mode is activated. The aiming mark adjustment reels have a click of 0.5 MOA with an offset range of 50 MOA vertically and horizontally.

Two Picatinny/Weaver rail mounts are included : a high one (1/3 co-witness) designed mainly for carbines and a low one recommended for shotguns.
