The Benchmade Cla ymore spring knife uses a drop point profile blade which is the most versatile way to shape the blade. The CPM-D2 steel used here is a modern, powder version of the steel of the same name, guaranteeing identical, excellent sharpness retention while improving the grain structure to guarantee high impact strength. Due to its limited corrosion resistance, the steel has been coated with a Cobalt Black coating that guarantees effective protection against rust as well as eliminates glare.
