The head is made of high-alloy Bohler N690 stainless steel. This Austrian tool steel has high corrosion resistance, is durable, holds working sharpness well, and is also easy to sharpen. After hardening, the steel achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC, which is an excellent compromise between impact strength and ease of sharpening.

The slim dagger head with spear-point profile, is finished with stonewaseh technique (abrasive bath in fine grit), which effectively masks minor scratches or abrasions of the head that occur during use.
The blade can be conveniently and quickly unfolded with one hand using a metastable lever concealed in the liner. Pressing the lever instantly releases the blade, which unfolds in a vigorous and tactile manner. This is all due to two strong springs that lock the blade in the closed and open positions. Folding the blade requires depressing the lever again (disengaging the lock) and manually retracting the blade. Lever lock knives have more than 100 years of history and originated in Spain and Italy.
The knives have contoured rough zytel facings, attached with rivets. The glass-epoxy laminate used is characterized by light weight, high mechanical strength, resistance to water, temperature change, as well as many acids and solvents. The contoured shape of the handle, combined with the rough texture of the plastic, provides excellent grip of the knife and comfort of use. Due to the lack of a clip, a leather belt pouch, closed with a belt clip, was used for everyday knife carrying.
