TheVortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 FFP 30mm EBR-8 is a running scope with an EBR-8 target reticle in the foreground, illuminated aiming mark and variable magnification of 1-8×.
If you own an AR15 carbine, you'll probably consider buying an LPVO (Low Power Variable Optics) scope - that is, an optic with low variable magnification. Unlike a traditional scope, the magnification range starts at an actual 1× and usually ends at a maximum magnification of 10×. LPVO scopes are mainly used on AR-15 carbines and hunting weapons, as they allow dynamic and accurate shooting at short range, as well as precise fire control at medium and longer distances. The biggest advantage of the Vortex LVPO sight is, of course, its versatility (compared to the collimator and holographic sight), which is why running scopes are widely used by sport shooters, uniformed formations and hunters.

The one-piece barrel is made from a single piece of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, thus guaranteeing resistance to recoil, corrosion and mechanical damage. The anodized barrel has a highly durable anti-reflective finish, resisting scratches and abrasion. Precision sealing and filling the optics with argon gas, completely eliminates the problem of internal lens evaporation and provides IPX7-rated protection: against rain, snow and immersion in water.
The30mm diameter tube provides a wide range of vertical and horizontal adjustment (145 MOA) allowing shooting at distances up to595m. A hard and durable ArmorTek coating has been applied to the external lenses to protect them from scratches, dirt, moisture and oils. The rugged construction means that the scope can be safely used in all weather conditions without fear of damaging the optics. A practical zoom lever is mounted on the eyepiece, which allows you to quickly change the magnification between shots.

The scope uses XD glass lenses with a low dispersion coefficient, which contributes to excellent resolution and contrast. Another advantage of the glass used is its relatively low density, which makes the optics lighter. A parameter that distinguishes Strike Eagle from the market competition is high light transmission, affecting image brightness even in unfavorable lighting conditions.
Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings were applied to all air-to-glass surfaces. As a result, the image is bright, sharp from edge to edge, has high resolution, reproduces colors faithfully and even at full 8× magnification the target is perfectly visible. The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 × 24 scope uses an illuminated EBR-8 target reticle in the foreground. As you change magnification, the FFP re ticle expands or shrinks proportionally, making it easier to read and apply corrections when shooting at longer distances. The laser-etched crosshairs on the glass guarantee the reliability and durability of the optic.
The aiming point (dot and open circle) has an 11-position illumination adjustment, allowing you to perfectly adjust the brightness to your needs. The large adjustment range allows comfortable operation in any lighting conditions, including night vision (2nd lowest brightness setting). The large exit pupil distance means (99 mm) that the shooter's eyesight remains relaxed, as entering the target does not have to adapt to the field of view. It also allows those using corrective lenses to use the scope comfortably and protects against the recoil of large caliber weapons. The illuminated target finder at a true 1× magnification acts like a collimator target dot, allowing for dynamic shooting at short range.
The EBR-8 reticle takes into account the ballistics of .223 Rem/ .308/7.62 caliber ammunition, and can also be used for weapons of other calibers (apply corrections using the BDC graduations). An additional upper scale allows quick calculation of the distance to the target The reticle is adjusted by covered, low-profile turrets, with moleskin covers that allow changing the settings even when wearing gloves. A click of the turret moves the reticle by 1/4 MOA (7 mm/ 100 m). Full reticle adjustment range is 145 MOA vertically and horizontally.
