The Browning Browning Buck Mark Magnum 5.5 mm is air pistol, which combines the features of a traditional spring-loaded air rifle with the ergonomics of a sports pistol. The skeleton and lock of the pistol are made of matte polymer, with high resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions. The key elements of the air rifle , i.e. the barrel, the trigger mechanism, the targeting instruments and the safety are, of course, metal, which guarantees durability and reliable operation.

The pistol'ssymmetrical grip has anatomical finger cutouts and non-slip texturing, ensuring a stable grip and comfort for both right- and left-handed shooters. The pistol has mechanical sighting instruments in a musket and fiber-optic pin barrel adjustable vertically and horizontally. The airgun has a classic spring-piston drive, in which air compression is carried out by "breaking the barrel". This form of drive, despite the passage of time, is considered one of the reliable ones, and does not require the user to purchase additional consumables. A solid steel catch securely locks the barrel when broken.

The gun shoots 5.5 mm diabolo shot with a maximum energy of 7.5 J. An axially mounted 178 mm long threaded barrel and a trigger mechanism with low resistance and short travel are responsible for precision and repeatability of shots.

A manual slide fuse located on the left side of the frame is used to lock the trigger mechanism when loading or carrying.
