One of the elements responsible for the comfort of shooting a carbine is, of course, the pistol grip. On it depends the comfortable positioning of the dominant hand when the flask is extended and retracted.
The Leapers UTG Super Slim Vertical Foregrip has an enlarged spur and a reduced angle of 18°. The spur fills the space at the rear of the trigger chamber, thus preventing the hand from being placed too high, which usually results in pulling the trigger at the wrong angle. The 18° grip allows a stable hand placement and reduces uncomfortable wrist flexion.
The distance of the fulcrum from the trigger (Lenght of pull) affects the angle of wrist flexion, which has a huge impact on the comfort of operating the weapon. That's why a grip with a smaller angle will be perfect for short-barreled rifles (PDW, CQB).
The Leapers pistol grip is made of durable injection-molded polymer. The material is resistant to weather conditions, mechanical damage and the effects of gun cleaners. The grip is guaranteed by non-slip texturing applied in the sensitive regions of the grip, i.e. the front, sides and back. The functionality of the grip is enhanced by an internal storage compartment for small accessories, e.g. gun cleaning cord, batteries for the collimator, spare ear plugs, etc. The slim design makes the grip suitable for mounting on carbines with a double-sided safety. A torque wrench with a torque setting of 35 lb/ft is recommended for mounting the grip.
