The 61 mm long blade is made of popular 8Cr13MoV steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. The steel used has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade will be great for everyday use due to its corrosion resistance, good sharpness retention and ease of sharpening, for which a pocket whetstone is completely sufficient.

The wide drop-point profile blade has a striking BlackWash finish (black oxidation), which effectively masks any scratches or abrasions to the blade caused by use. Thanks to the use of a strong hilt, concave grind and a cutting edge with a gentle curve, the knife has good cutting qualities and will perform well during simple daily activities.
