The mount is made of lightweight and anodized 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The HA-III anodizing protects the aluminum from oxidation and hardens its surface, making the mount resistant to abrasion and scratches. The use of skeletonized construction makes the mount weigh only 147 g, so it does not noticeably increase the weight of the carbine. The sensitive edges of the mount have been rounded, which reduces their abrasion, scratching and snagging on protruding elements.
TheAT3 Tactical Cantilever mount attaches to the Picatinny rail with two screws without the use of a tool. The short one-piece base of the mount takes up just 5 Picatinny slots, so we can easily maneuver the mount's seating location. The mount has 2 recoil stops, which increase the rigidity of the mount and guarantee zero retention.
Note: The manufacturer recommends tightening the ring screws with a wrench with a torque setting of about 25 cal/lbs, and the base screws with a torque of about 35 cal/lbs.
