The Bergara B14R Carbon is a model that uses a lightweight, weather-resistant fiberglass-reinforced polymer bed. The bed has a symmetrical Monte Carlo flask and a system of rubberized spacers that allow for flask length adjustment (LOP). On the back of the breech chamber is a Picatinny rail with a 20 MOA incline. The carbine's bed is fully compatible with Remington 700 components, so the user can easily modify the weapon in terms of trigger mechanisms, optics mounting bases, as well as the entire bed.

The rifle uses a floating18" barrel (1:16 thread) made of stainless steel. Bergara barrels are distinguished by their excellent quality and affordable price, which is why the Spanish manufacturer's guns are rapidly growing in popularity among hunters. The barrel is terminated with a 1/2 ×2 8 thread suitable for mounting discharge devices. To protect the barrel from external factors, a carbon fiber collar was used, which gives the carbine a modern look.
The adjustable trigger mechanism has a resistance of 1.6 kg. The carbine is fed from a box magazine with a capacity of 10 cartridges. The dimensions of the magazine are identical to those of the standard AICS.a
