TheFreyr&Devik Featherweight 269 M15x1 is a lightweight and compact suppressor with a modern design and a high level of suppression created with hunting in mind.
The Featherweight 269 model is a suppressor for hunters who are looking for an uncompromising hunting suppressor. The Featherweight 269 has a low weight of 269 g and stands out for its impressive suppression efficiency - up to 38 dB.
The sound suppressor increases the comfort of the weapon, protects our hearing from excessive strain, reduces the recoil of the weapon and reduces the noise accompanying the shot. This allows the shooter to focus on sighting the target and proper work on the trigger. The suppressor is especially useful when hunting near a hunting ground and at shooting ranges located in the immediate vicinity of residential areas.
Freyr&Devik Featherweight 269 - hunting suppressor with excellent suppression of the sound of a gunshot
Featherweight 269 has relatively small dimensions and does not change the balance of the weapon, so it is ideal for any type of hunting. It is ideal for hunting and sport shooting, if the competitor does not fire more than 20 shots in a single round during competition.
The suppressor is designed for weapons with a maximum of 9.5 m with a barrel ending in M15x1 thread.
Advantages of the Featherweight 269 suppressor:
- reduces the risk of hearing damage during shooting,
- reduces noise on hunting and at the shooting range,
- effectively reduces weapon recoil,
- eliminates gunshot flare,
- provides comfort during shooting.
Feartherweight 269 not only effectively suppresses the sound of a gunshot, but also noticeably reduces recoil, affecting shooting comfort. Note that the suppressor mounted on the weapon can cause vibration of the barrel, which changes the average hit point. Therefore, after installing the suppressor, the weapon should be fired and the adjustment of the aiming instruments should be made accordingly.
The Freyr&Devik Featherweight 269 suppressor has a two-piece design, which allows the shooter to disassemble the suppressor and maintain it himself. It is worth noting that disassembling the suppressor does not require tools. A distinctive feature of Freyr&Devik suppressors is the specific shape of the exhaust section. The front wall is concave, but it has an outlet part raised by about 3 mm. Thanks to such a design, the sound waves are directed forward, which has the effect of lowering the sound of a gunshot at the direct distance from the shooter. Another advantage of such a suppressor design, is to reduce the ingress of water into the device, for example, when hunting in the rain. The body of the suppressor tapers towards the end, which can make it easier to tear through dense thickets during hunting.
