Thanks to the use of an aluminum housing, the sight weighs only 58 g, so it does not noticeably increase the weight of the weapon. The inside of the collimator has been filled with nitrogen and thoroughly sealed, so the device is resistant to weather conditions, dew, as well as total immersion in water (up to 10 m). The front lens has been hidden inside the housing, which effectively prevents its damage when the weapon falls or other random situations. The battery port is located on the top of the sight, making it convenient to replace the power cell without removing the collimator from the weapon. The Steiner MPS is powered by a CR1632 lozenge battery, which provides up to 13,000 hours of operation (at medium brightness setting) - that's nearly 1.5 years of operation! We are reminded of the need to replace the battery by a notification in the form of a blinking aiming dot. The device owes this impressive result to the use of an automatic shut-off function (after 13 hours). The user has 8 brightness levels available: 6 for daytime use and 2 night vision-compatible settings.

The Steiner MicroPistol Sight MPS collimator has a true 1× magnification, which, combined with its compact design, allows for full situational awareness and reduces the "tunnel vision" phenomenon. The sight uses a 3.3 MOA red dot sighting dot that is 90 MOA adjustable (vertically and horizontally). A 2 side button and 1 MOA clique screws are used to engage and adjust the collimator settings. The Steiner MPS is free of parallax error at distances from 10 to 150 meters.
The Steiner MPS collimator can be mounted on any Docter plate, and is also compatible with most adapters from other manufacturers.
