The Tophunt WG-50 Plus has an IPX4 weatherproof polymer construction, so the night vision device can be safely used in snowfall rain and high dust environments. The night vision has a contoured grip for good grip during observation, and a 1/4" socket designed for stable mounting of the device on a tripod. The WG-50 has a Weaver rail, which allows you to expand the device with additional functionality, such as mounting a laser rangefinder.
The Tophunt WG-50 uses a 50mm lens, a sensitive CMOS sensor and anti-reflective coating to increase light transmission. The device has a 6× fixed optical zoom and 5× digital zoom. The high-resolution matrix allows zooming without noticeable loss of quality. To ensure long range, the night vision device uses a 3 W infrared illuminator with a wavelength of 850 nm, which allows observation of objects in total darkness up to 350 m away. The night image is emitted in shades of gray. During the day, when there is plenty of light, the image is emitted in color. An adjustable infrared beam and 6× optical magnification make the processed image of high quality, free of noise and interference. The night vision device has a 1.5" display with a 4° × 3.3° field of view with adjustable focus.

Tophunt WG-50 Plus allows you to record images at a maximum resolution of 1280 × 720 p 30 fps with sound, and to take photos with a maximum resolution of 2592 × 1944. For recording, we can use a micro SD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB (not included). Tophunt WG-50 digital night vision is powered by 4 AA batteries (can be replaced by rechargeable batteries), which provide up to 3.5 hours of operation on high IR illumination. The advantages of such a power supply are undoubtedly widespread availability and low price.
