The head with a typically working clip-point profile has an optimal length of 84 mm and a thickness of 2.8 mm, so the knife will be useful for both meal preparation and light camp work. Transverse frets have been made on a section of the back, providing a solid point of support for the thumb. The blade has a flat grind, which provides an excellent compromise between durability and smoothness of cutting. The blade has a very practical so-called stonewashed finish, which is done by bathing the blade in gravel or small abrasive stones. The rubberized polypropylene facings are fixed to the shaft with 2 steel screws. The profiled shape of the handle, the thumb cutout and the checkered texturing ensure a stable and comfortable grip on the knife. The kit comes with a sturdy injection-molded polymer sheath.
