Kizer Yorkie Ki3525A4 - high quality edc knives for outdoor enthusiasts

The knife uses a blade with a utilitarian drop-point profile, made of M390 steel, considered the best steel in the world used in factory knives This super steel is hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. M390 is a luxury stainless steel with a very high vanadium and carbon content, which make the blade unusually have excellent retention, very resistant to abrasion and corrosion. When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.

Thanks to the double-sided peg, the knife can be quickly and easily disassembled with one hand. Such a solution makes the knife not only instantly ready for use, but also convenient for right- and left-handed users. When the blade is unfolded, it is locked by the popular liner-lock, a mechanism valued for its durability and comfort. The locking function is performed by a skeleton strip (liners), which, when the blade is unfolded, supports its root and prevents folding during use.

The knife's handle is formed by textured liners made of micarta, a laminate that is resistant to mechanical impact, heat and some active chemicals. The knife weighs only 65 grams, so once you put it in your pocket, you can practically forget about its existence.

The minimalist facings have a rough texture, which improves the knife's grip. The rigidity and strength of the structure is provided by a steel liner supported by aluminum spacers. The profiled shape of the tang, the undercut for fingers and the fine texturing of the plastic make the knife fit tightly in the hand, without slipping and sliding while working. Convenient carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by a resilient titanium clip (one-sided).
