TheFenix E18R V2.0 is a pocket-sized edc flashlight with a 1200 lumen output, equipped with a USB-C charging port, battery level indicator, locking switch, two-way clip and 16340 battery.

Fenix E18R V2.0 - a pocket-sized beast with 1200 lumen output

The flashlight's tube is made of A6061-T6 aluminum with HA-III anodized coating, which guarantees high resistance to mechanical damage and abrasion resistance. Thanks to the transverse moleting of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well felt. The flashlight, which is 67 mm in length and weighs only 56 g with battery, so it can always accompany us in our daily activities, hiking and other outdoor activities. Just clip the flashlight to your keys, backpack or hip bag to illuminate the darkness with a powerful stream of light when needed. Thanks to a two-way clip, the flashlight can be easily attached to a belt, backpack, or on the visor of a hat as an improvised headlamp. The functionality of the device is enhanced by a magnet built into the back, which allows the flashlight to be attached to steel components. As a result, our hands remain free, allowing us to perform other activities that require the use of two hands.

The light source is a powerful yet energy-efficient Luminus SST40 LED, emitting a light output of as much as 1,200 lumens. Despite the pocket size of the flashlight, the range of the reflected world reaches nearly 146 meters, allowing to illuminate strongly distant objects. The new version of the E18R V2.0 uses a cool-color LED, a modified collimating lens and an orange peel reflector. Such an optical system makes the light beam evenly dispersed, so the Fenix E18R V2.0 will be ideal as an edc flashlight, lighting in any form of outdoor activity.

The user has 5 continuous light modes and a strobe flash mode. All flashlight operations, i.e. turning on, off and changing modes, are operated with a single metal button located on the body. Against accidental activation of the flashlight during transport, it is protected by a double safety feature, i.e. a button lock (activated by a quick double click) and a metal clip, which, when turned, prevents the flashlight from being activated.

The Fenix E18R V2.0 is powered by the ARB-L16-700P lithium-ion rechargeable battery (included), which provides the best light performance and minimizes the cost of operating the flashlight. The maximum lighting time in Moonlight mode (1 lumen) is up to 200 hours, in Turbo mode the total operating time is about 30 minutes. Alternatively, we can use disposable CR123 batteries to power the flashlight (especially in winter). A major innovation is the ability to recharge the battery (without removing it from the flashlight) via a USB-C port. The socket allows the battery to be fully charged in just 80 minutes. The E18R V2.0 flashlight also features an LED battery level indicator, which allows you to easily monitor the remaining battery power.

The flashlight has a high protection rating of IP68, so it is resistant to water immersion at a depth of 2 meters and a fall from a height of 1 meter. When the flashlight reaches a temperature of 60°C, the controller will automatically reduce the light output by a few lumens to lower the temperature of the device. In addition to intelligent protection against overheating, the flashlight also implemented reverse polarity protection and a low battery voltage warning function.
