A key role in the goggles is played by the protective glass made of Selenite polycarbonate, which meets the stringent protective standards ANSI HVP and EN.166. The viewfinder is protected by a hard T-Shell coating, which effectively protects against scratches and increases the life of the lens. Wiley X Peak have Silver Flash gray lenses are some of the darkest lenses used in Wiley X goggles. The gray lenses have a Z-Oxide mirror coating that effectively reduces glare, making the glasses ideal for sunny weather. They absorb all colors to the same degree, so they maintain the same color perception as without sunglasses.
