The WX Boss has a contoured frame and wide temples for a snug fit and comfort even during all-day wear, whether you're sailing, hiking in the mountains, or traversing the world on a bicycle. The frame has an 8-degree facial fit, which means the glasses cover more of the face, fit perfectly, provide a wide field of vision and better protection from light in the peripheral field of vision.
The goggles use a detachable Facial Cavity gasket to keep out wind, dust, dirt and other debris that can irritate the eyes. A floating seal (Facial Cavity Seal) also fits the WX Boss to prevent the glasses from sinking if they fall into water.
A key role in the goggles is played by a protective windshield made of Selenite polycarbonate that meets stringent ANSI HVP and EN.166 protective standards. The viewfinder is protected by a hard T-Shell coating that effectively protects against scratches and increases the life of the lens.
The Wiley X Boss has Silver Flash mirrored lenses, which are among the darkest lenses used in Wiley X eyewear. The gray lenses are coated with Z-Oxide mirror coating, which effectively reduces glare, making the glasses ideal for sunny weather. They absorb all colors to the same degree, so they maintain the same color perception as without sunglasses.
