TheFenix TK22 T ac is a handy tactical searchlight that offers a powerful 2800 lumen output, a range of up to 540m and a 21700 5000 mAh battery with USB-C charging. The IP68-rated armored body, functional clip and dual-function tactical switch make the Fenix TK22 Tac not only an ideal tool for uniformed services, but also an indispensable light source for preppers, survivalists and military enthusiasts.
Fenix TK22 Tac - waterproof tactical flashlight with armored design
The body of the Fenix TK22 Tac flashlight is made of hardened A6061-T6 aluminum , subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process, which makes the flashlight's barrel and head resistant to mechanical damage, scratches and abrasion. The milling of the body and its geometric profile prevent the flashlight from slipping from the hand, and provide excellent grip. The optical system is protected by a toothed crown (raised head elements), which protects the glass in case of a fall or setting on an uneven surface. The TK22 Tac also uses a steel clip that allows the flashlight to be quickly attached to a belt and a brace. The flashlight uses several protection systems, including reverse polarity protection and "smart protection" against overheating. The flashlight's high IP68 rating makes it resistant to total immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 m), dust and dirt, as well as falling. A detachable clip also prevents the flashlight from rolling off an inclined surface. To operate the flashlight, there is a rear switch (for activating momentary and constant light) and a rotating ring, with which you can conveniently change mode groups and activate the lock.
The main features of the Fenix TK22 TAC:
- Energy-efficient Luminus SFT70 LED with a lifetime of 50,000 hours

Fenix TK22 Tac - impressive light range up to 540m
The light source is a new generation LUMINUS SST-70 LED, emitting a maximum light output of 2800 lumens at a distance of up to 540 m. Such an impressive light range was achieved by using an enlarged head, a smooth SMO reflector and high light transmission glass.
The cool-neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color reproduction and greater detail. Due to its tactical nature, the flashlight uses a smooth SMO reflector, providing a concentrated stream of light with a strongly illuminated center of the scene.Such parameters allow you to illuminate distant targets, but also to work effectively in confined spaces, so the Fenix TK22 Tac will be perfect for patrol and rescue operations. A flashlight of such power will be appreciated by all officers and civilian users looking for uncompromising tools for work.
The flashlight is powered by a 21700 type cell with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The battery used has twice the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, which obviously translates into tremendous performance and impressive runtime.
The battery additionally has a built-in USB-C port. This convenient solution allows charging the cell without the need for an additional charger. For charging, all you need is a standard USB-C cable (included) and a power source such as a power bank, laptop, desktop computer or car USB charger. According to the manufacturer, the 21700 battery provides a total of up to 180 minutes in turbo mode (2800 lumens) or more than 2 days of illumination in eco mode. The use of two springs in the battery compartment, guarantees stable operation and prevents power failures due to drops.
Fenix flashlights - tactical lighting for uniformed services
TK22 Tac is equipped with two switches: the main (rear) and a mechanical ring for changing the mode group. The rear button activates momentary light, constant illumination and, it is also used to change brightness levels. The rotary ring is responsible for quickly switching between Tactical and Duty groups, as well as activating the lock, which protects against accidental activation of the flashlight.
The use of the rotary switch allows for a quick change between Tactical and Duty modes. In Tactical mode, the user can only use the light in strong and strobe modes. The Duty group contains all available modes useful for duty and everyday tasks. Changing modes is done with a half-click, after holding the switch for 0.8 seconds you get quick access to strobe (regardless of the selected group), to lock the selected brightness mode, you need to press the switch (full click). Thanks to the memory function, after the next activation of the flashlight, the last used light mode is automatically selected. Fenix TK22 TAC uses APF (Advanced Transmision Technology), which reduces the susceptibility of electronics to interference. It is also worth noting that the operation of the rotary switch, in no way interferes with the magnetic field.
Tactical group:
- Turbo 2800 lumens,
- strobe 2500 lumens.
Duty group:
- Eco 30 lumens
- low 150 lumens,
- medium 350 lumens,
- high 1000 lumens,
- strobe 2500 lumens.
The parameters shown were obtained under laboratory conditions. A Fenix ARB-L21 5000U mAh battery was used during testing.
