The body of the compass was made of mechanically durable acrylic covered with rubber to cushion the structure during accidental impacts. In contrast, Swedish steel with magnetic properties was used for the needle, making it ideally suited for use in compasses. The contrasting color of the north-pointing part of the needle guarantees us the ability to quickly, instinctively find the direction with our eyes during dynamic movement. The way the compass is mounted on the hand keeps our hands free, which will significantly increase our comfort when working with a map and allow us to regularly check the direction without having to remove the compass from the pocket.
