A-Tec PMM-6 - civilian suppressor for small arms
The A-Tec PMM-6 has a folding modular design made of stainless steel and aluminum alloy. The A-TEC PMM is one of the lightest and most efficient suppressors designed for small arms. The PMM uses a lightweight aluminum alloy spring piston (Nielsen device), which ensures proper functioning (reloading) of pistols shooting various 9mm ammunition. The A-Tec suppressor efficiently reduces the sound of firing (36 dB), and noticeably reduces recoil. Thanks to the PMM's modular design, the shooter can adjust the suppressor's length to suit his own needs. In the design of the suppressor, we can distinguish the base with a 1/2 - 28 UNEF thread (for screwing on the barrel) and 5 modules (chambers), which allows thorough cleaning of the device after shooting.
Note: Due to the operation of the Nielsen device, the suppressor requires regular cleaning every 300 shots and thorough lubrication with molybdenum grease (about 1-2 g).
