Diana 3-9x40 1" AO Duplex is a budget optical sight with variable magnification, equipped with parallax adjustment and the popular Duplex sight reticle. It comes with a Diana compensation mount for 11mm rail.
3-9x40 1" AO Duplex spotting scope - a sight with parallax adjustment for windsock
The spotting scope has a one-piece 25.4mm diameter tube made of anodized aircraft aluminum with a matte finish. Thanks to the scope's thorough sealing and filling with dry nitrogen, the optics are resistant to dew (internal fogging) and insensitive to weather conditions. The scope's robust construction and the use of a compensating mount allow the optics to be used also on powerful high-energy spring windguns. The lenses are coated with anti-reflective coating, which increases light transmission and provides a bright, sharp image of the target, even when shooting in lower light. There is a ring on the eyepiece for fine adjustment of focus. The scope also has a variable magnification of 3-9×, allowing the shooter to choose between a wide field of view or a close-up image of the target.
The Diana 3-9x40 sight uses the popular Duplex sight re ticle consisting of 4 thick arms, with thin hairline lines in the center. This is one of the most popular reticles, which allows both precise and fast shooting in changing light conditions. Adjustment of the reticle is made with covered drums with a clique value of 0.25 MOA.
A ring is used on the lens to smoothly compensate for parallax error from 9.6 meters to infinity. Parallax correction allows you to fine-tune the focus of the image depending on the distance at which you are shooting. Along with the scope we receive polymer lens covers.
Diana compensation mount - for shooting with powerful spring-loaded riflescopes
The DianaZR 1"-30 mm/ 11 mm compensation mount, thanks to its special design, can absorb nearly 100% of the recoil energy affecting the optics, which obviously protects and extends the life of the scope. The operation of the mount is based on two spring-loaded guides on which the entire scope slides, thus compensating for recoil. When extended forward, the scope returns to its original position. The mount has a solid 58 mm long base, attached to the rail via 3 screws. The mounting's rigidity and reliability is ensured by an integrated stop pin.
An additional feature of the mounting is a "micro bevel" of 1.016 mm. Thanks to the inserts, the Diana ZR mount can be used for scopes with an inch or 30 mm tube. With the Diana ZR mount, we can safely use the scope even on powerful spring-loaded riflescopes and FAC carbines.
