The A-Tec AR 40-4 .30 5/8-24 "UNF suppressor belongs to a professional series of discharge devices dedicated to assault weapons.
TheA-Tec AR is a suppressor with a reinforced design, suitable for continuous and single-fire shooting. The suppressor is made entirely of steel, which makes it suitable for use in harsh field conditions. The A-Tex suppressor efficiently lowers the sound of firing, and noticeably reduces recoil. The AR 40-4 has a non-removable construction, made of stainless steel components finished with Cerakote coating.
A-Tec AR - steel suppressors for 7.62mm weapons
The suppressor is designed and tested to work with weapons with a minimum barrel length of16" for 308 Win. According to the manufacturer, the suppressor allows firing 1 magazine with continuous fire or 2 magazines with rapid single fire.
During testing of the A-Tec AR suppressor, more than 5 magazines were safely fired with continuous fire. The A-Tec AR 40-4 is a suppressor with a length of 181 mm, weighing only 425 g, which makes it perfect for silencing shots of 7.62×39 mm and .308 carbines. The suppressor's effectiveness is 26 dB for .308 caliber and 33 dB for 7.62×39 mm.
Note that the suppressor is NOT disassembled! If disassembled for cleaning, etc., the warranty is voided.
