The 400 coarse gradation diamond stone is used to re-profile, repair and sharpen a severely dulled cutting edge. The plate is designed for Work Sharp Precision Adjust and Work Sharp Precision Adjust Elite sharpeners . Installation of the plate requires double-sided adhesive tape and removal of the factory plate. To remove the used insert, it is best to use a precision blade (for undermining) and a fishing line or dental floss.
