Extremely affordable for the capabilities offered, the Konus Nuclear-QR collimator provides us with the ability to use both the standard red and the contrast-enhanced green aiming spot. Compact dimensions and low weight make the device not a noticeable burden on both carbines and riflescopes or compact PCCs. The device uses 3 MOA spotting scope will allow precise aiming as well as being easy to find during dynamic targeting. Most importantly, the model has a choice of spot color between traditional red or green, which is better perceived by the human eye. The device provides convenient zeroing, thanks to the graduations on the dial, and a clear click. The lack of parallax guarantees precision, while the unlimited distance from the eye makes it possible to use the device at any position on any weapon.
The set includes two mounts - a low one screwed onto the Picatinny rail with a Torx screw, and a high one equipped with a QR lever guaranteeing tool-less disassembly. The former will come in handy when used on weapons whose butt axis does not coincide with the barrel axis, i.e. rifles, shotguns or AK platforms. The high mount, on the other hand, will prove useful on AR carbines and newer shooting designs.
