TheKershaw Interstellar 1195 is a lightweight OTF manual knife with an 8Cr13MoV steelmanual-extending blade that features textured nylon and fiberglass liners, a convenient deep carry clip and a useful bottle opener.
The Kershaw Interstellar 1195 has a forward-extending blade in the style of OTF automatic knives, but the difference is that both the extension and retraction of the blade are manual.

The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. The steel used has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade will be great for everyday use due to its resistance to corrosion, good sharpness retention and ease of sharpening, for which a pocket whetstone is completely sufficient. The 69-mm-long blade is extended forward (Out The Front) using a metal slider, which is identical to a technical knife. A spring-loaded lock protects the blade from folding and accidental ejection. The blade can only be folded or ejected when the slider is depressed.
The tanto-profile blade has a combo cutting edge and a strong hilt that is resistant to breakage and chipping. The Kershaw Interstellar 1195 is a versatile edc tool, thanks to its partially serrated blade. The aggressive teeth are great at cutting hard, fibrous materials such as rope, nylon webbing, clothing and bone.
The Kershaw Interstellar 1195 has a futuristic handle made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The striking milling of the handle and the use of lightweight material, make the knife comfortable and secure in the hand despite its compact size. Within the handle are two practical features, a metal bottle opener and a deep carry clip, allowing the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket.
