A modernized version of the first service flail pistol from Italian manufacturer Beretta. The APX A1 has received a modified lock, which, in addition to a revised design and ribbed geometry, has now received an undercut that allows direct mounting of a collimator. The profile of the handle has also changed, getting rid of the finger undercuts, replacing them with a far more versatile and effective texturing. The A1 is therefore an ideal choice for those who have been procrastinating on purchasing this highly successful non-chicken, taking even more out of an initially already very good design.
Modern modular design
This modular shooting design was developed in connection with the MHS competition for a new pistol for the US Army. The pistol features great ergonomics and above-average foldability. The lowering of the barrel axis made it possible to reduce recoil, allowing the gun to return to the target quickly and repeatably.
The Beretta APX A1 has a double-sided magazine latch and a magazine release that can be submitted to both sides, so it can be comfortably operated with the left or right hand. The low-profile lock has ribbing along its entire lengthfor easy reloading and checking the cartridge chamber.
Thanks to The ability to replace the rear panel (3 included) the shooter can adjust the size of the grip to the anatomy of the hand. Finger undercuts and aggressive texturing of the grip provides a very good grip.
High level of safety
The gun features as many as 4 safety features: a taut firing pin drop button, a firing pin lock, a trigger fuse and a mechanism that disconnects the trigger rail when the lock is in the rear position.
