Smoker Borniak BBQ INOX Timer BBDS-70 is a modern smokehouse, which is perfect for home smoking and can be successfully used in catering and agritourism, that is, wherever we care about shortened smoking time and undercooking of products.
Thanks to the use of a powerful 1000 W heater, the smokehouse quickly heats up to a temperature of up to 150°C and maintains a defined temperature regardless of the outside temperature.
The Borniak BBDST-70 smoker has a new control system that makes it easier to operate the smokehouse and will increase control over the smoking process. The Simple controller not only watches over the operation of the smoke generator, but also the smoking temperature. Thanks to such functionality, Smoker Borniak BBDST-70 smokehouse is almost maintenance-free. Smoker BBDST-70 has a capacity of 70 liters, which allows smoking up to 10 kg load. We can smoke our products in a horizontal or hanging position (using hooks and crossbars).

In the Borniak BBDST-70 smoker, thanks to the side handles, we can smoke on 6 shelves at the same time. This solution is most useful when smoking cheese and fish stacked on smoking shelves. The distance between the shelves is about 90 mm, but if we need to smoke larger portions, we can easily adjust the space by reducing the number of shelves.
The chamber uses a 1000 W heater, which quickly heats up to max. 150°C and maintains the temperature set by the controller. The temperature in the chamber is, of course, influenced by the work of the 115 W smoke generator heater, which can heat the chamber compartment up to 50°C. It is responsible for the controlled combustion of smoke chips and the production of clean smoke. The steel construction of the Borniak BBDST-70 Smoker guarantees that heat is maintained in the smoking chamber. This reduces electricity consumption and limits smoking costs. The tightness of the structure was achieved by using double walls of the chamber filled with polyurethane foam. A sealed chamber door with a magnet closure also performs an important function. The thick silicone seal of the door keeps the heat inside the smokehouse and does not let the smoke out.
The outer body of the smokehouse was also created from stainless steel, which is resistant to the weather variables outside. The interior of the smoking chamber is lined with a sheet of approved stainless steel approved for food contact. When the wood chips are burned, the generator produces the smoke necessary for smoking. The spiral transports the chips to the surface of the heater, where they undergo controlled combustion. This process takes place continuously, which guarantees the efficient distribution of smoke inside the entire chamber and contributes to the excellent quality of the smoked products. Filling the smoke generator hopper with 2 l of chips allows smoking for up to 8 hours.
The BBDST-70 smokehouse uses a modernized degassing bowl, improving airflow and fat removal. In this important element of the smokehouse, located in the lower part of the chamber above the smoke generator heater, condensate formed by high temperatures accumulates. The proper design of the degassing bowl allows the grease to drain into the bowl below. The horizontal arrangement of the bowl openings guarantees proper smoke circulation throughout the smokehouse chamber. The Borniak BBDST-70 digital smokehouse has a practical chimney with a shaft used to regulate the amount of smoke in the chamber. The chimney has a simple and trouble-free mechanism for controlling the amount of smoke in the smokehouse, which uses a lever-operated shutter to adjust the chug. There is a tray at the bottom of the flue that catches most of the impurities that condense in the chimney during smoking. New mounting brackets make it easy to adjust the height of the smokehouse feet. If necessary, they can also be replaced with casters (optional) to easily and conveniently change the position of the smokehouse.
