AREX Rex Alpha, cal. 9x19 mm is a Slovenian recegun for dynamic shooting, distinguished by its modular design, excellent ergonomics and high operating culture.
Arex Alpha is a modern cocked pistol, operating on the principle of short barrel recoil, bolted with a modified Browning system. The pistol uses a double/single-action (DA/SA) trigger mechanism with an external fuse that disconnects the trigger from the striking mechanism. The sporting character of the AREX Rex Alpha is emphatically emphasized by the 14mm trigger length and its 4mm reset.

The Arex Alpha has a modern milled lock, which stands out for its excellent fit and exceptionally smooth operation. Notches on the front and rear of the lock ensure a firm grip when reloading. Despite the massive breech and long 127mm barrel, the gun is well balanced and can be moved from target to target in no time. The trigger holster is voluminous, and its front face has been applied with transverse milling to improve the pistol's power-grip. The aluminum frame has a full-length Picatinny rail and long breech guides for exceptionally smooth gun action. All the manipulators are double-sided and suitable for right- and left-handed shooters.
The wing fuse is convenient and intuitive, so the weapon can be quickly secured or unlocked. The breech release located in front of the safety can be comfortably operated without changing the grip, also by people with smaller hands. The shooter can adjust the trigger-tongue resistance with the included compressed 1.08 kg, 0.9 kg, 0.77 kg. In accordance with sporting trends, the cock has a lightweight skeletonized design.
Particularly noteworthy is the adjustable trigger mechanism (interchangeable spring system), the operation of which in SA mode is smooth and light with a perfectly perceptible 4 mm reset. All this makes it easy for the shooter to get to know the gun and control the trigger work well. Recoil and recoil are negligible, the gun shoots flat and returns quickly to the target.
The AREX Rex Alpha has replaceable facings with a non-slip texture attached to the frame with 4 screws. The factory instruments consist of a fiber-optic bowstring and a vertically and horizontally adjustable pinniped. To feed the pistol, we receive 2 18-shot magazines with +2 feet attached, which increases the magazine capacity to 20 bullets.
