The Varmint version is further characterized by a heavy, precise barrel that guarantees excellent focusing parameters - according to the manufacturer's declarations, 1 MOA at a distance of 100 m.
The weapon uses a double-action bolt lock in the breech chamber, which is characterized by excellent smoothness and lightness of operation. The lock has threaded holes for mounting optics. The barrels and locks of the Extreme series of rifles are made of stainless steel covered with a protective coating of gray cerakote (heat-hardened ceramic paint).
Lightweight bed
The Bergara B14 Varmint 24'' is a model that uses a lightweight bed made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer that is weatherproof. The bed has a symmetrical Monte Carlo flask and a rubberized CrushZone Recoil pad (flask foot), which is responsible for reducing recoil.
