Axe Gnome - Polish bushcraft axes from Oak Forge
The Gnome has a Scandinavian design devoid of a typical hilt, so it will work best as a cutting and chopping tool. The axe head is made by the traditional hand-forging method from unalloyed C45 steel, which can be surface-hardened. This makes the axe highly resistant to wear and dynamic loads, so when I buy a Gnome from Oak Forge I am guaranteed that the tool will serve not only us, but also the next generation. The axe has a hardened hilt, so in addition to cutting and chopping wood it can also be used as a hammer. The material used for the handle is natural ash wood, famous for its high hardness, resistance to abrasion, cracking and decay. The Gnome axe, weighing only about 500 g, can accompany us wherever our legs carry us and we are reliant only on ourselves and reliable tools.
