Optima by Hatsan 35S - a windcheater with an English-style wooden bed
The carbine's stock is made of oiled beech wood with a matte finish. The simple English-style flask allows both right- and left-handed shooters to comfortably assemble for the shot. The recoil generated after the shot is effectively absorbed thanks to the use of a ventilated rubber foot, which is also responsible for a stable point of support. Grooving has been applied to the center of the bed, which improves grip and emphasizes the classic style of the carbine.
Convenient loading
The spring is tensioned by the classic "barrel break", a method most often used in spring-loaded windcheaters due to its convenient and simple operation. The spring of the windgun is made of hardened steel with high fatigue strength, which guarantees its durability and performance even after several thousand shots. Precision and long range
For accuracy and repeatability of shots is responsible for the threaded barrel with a length of 450 mm, thanks to which we can get a repeatable focus already after a short training. The fired shotgun reaches a high initial velocity, so we can also shoot accurately from the carbine at longer distances.
In shooting, the most important thing is safety, so when the spring is stretched ("breaking the barrel"), the automatic fuse is activated, which makes it impossible to fire an uncontrolled shot. Before firing, you should always turn off the safety, which is conveniently located at the rear of the piston chamber. This affects the extremely easy unlocking of the carbine, which can be done even without interfering with the aiming process.
Modern sighting instruments
The carbine has been equipped with fiber-optic sighting instruments, i.e. a tunnel-type bow-tie and a vertically and horizontally adjustable stock. The fiber-optic rods with contrasting (green-red) colors, significantly speed up the alignment of the bow tie and the pincer, and thanks to high light absorption, also allow shooting in intense sunlight. If you want to try your hand at shooting at a longer distance, you can also mount an optical sight of your choice on the 11mm rail .
A shot fired from the carbine reaches speeds of up to 250 m/s.
